My son Jakob was born September 16, 2004. He was born at 24 weeks gestation and weighed 15 ounces. He was born with a grade two brain bleed.
We spent 123 days total in the NICU. He came home with a feeding tube because he just wouldn’t eat on his own.
The doctors and nurses were amazing the whole time we were there. He is doing so great now. He is a high school graduate and is thriving.
