University of Utah ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Care is hosting a health fair aimed at serving Utah's Hispanic community and their health needs. With the Latino population in Utah growing each year, University of Utah ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Care wants to help our patients from all backgrounds and health needs commit to a healthy lifestyle. Latinos are typically more vulnerable to diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer.
Our medical staff will facilitate complimentary health screenings for children and adults. Screenings will include blood pressure, cholesterol and eyesight checks. Flu shots will also be provided free of charge.
Physicians and nurses will provide information to participants in English and Spanish. Participants will also be invited to participate in presentations addressing health issues like healthy eating, heart disease and diabetes.
Media is welcome to join us for a feel good weekend story.
