The Wellness Bus and Community Nursing Services Provide Free COVID-19 Vaccinations

In partnership with Community Nursing Services (CNS), University of Utah ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s Wellness Bus will host free COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the month of May.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wellness Bus has been a trusted resource for Utah's underserved communities. In April 2020, the Wellness Bus was retrofitted to test for coronavirus, ultimately testing nearly 15,000 Utahns—primarily essential workers and those hardest hit—in ten months. Through this effort, positive rates for COVID tests conducted on the Wellness Bus were nearly double those reported in Salt Lake County. U of U ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is proud to collaborate with CNS in the ongoing effort to serve underrepresented communities while helping slow the spread of COVID-19.

No appointment is required for COVID-19 vaccinations, although availability is limited. Everyone can get a COVID-19 vaccine with no out-of-pocket cost. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident, and you do not need to have a visa to get vaccinated. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available.

Patients must be 18 years and older to receive a vaccine at the following locations:
